We intentionally process as little visitor information as reasonably possible. We do not use advertising analytics, behavioural advertising, marketing trackers or commercial profiling.

Information processed

For operation and security, limited technical information may be processed automatically, including IP-related network information, browser or user-agent data, timestamps, session identifiers, rate-limiting information, failed login attempts and security events. Our application stores a keyed digest rather than the raw IP address for its persistent login-failure protection.

The Website may display information already published publicly on Bilibili, such as public usernames, public comments, video titles, links and recommendation context.

If community voting is enabled, the Website uses a random browser identifier to keep one active vote per browser for a video or video idea. The application stores only a keyed digest of that identifier in its database, not the raw identifier, and it is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Source of public information

Public usernames, comments and recommendation information displayed by the Website are obtained from publicly accessible Bilibili pages and are used only to identify and contextualise community recommendations.

Purposes

Technical data is used only to operate the Website, authenticate authorised visitors, maintain sessions, prevent abuse, investigate suspicious activity and protect the service. Public Bilibili information is used to organise and attribute community recommendations.

Community-vote data is used only to aggregate visitor opinions about video categories, levels and creator-proposed video ideas. Votes do not automatically alter the creator’s official classification.

We do not sell personal information and do not use visitor information for targeted advertising.

Legal basis

Where applicable, limited technical information is processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing and protecting the Website, preventing abuse and maintaining the integrity of the service. Public Bilibili information is processed only insofar as reasonably necessary to identify and contextualise community recommendations. Where consent is legally required for a particular activity, that activity will not be performed without the required consent.

Minors

The Website is not directed to children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children under 14. If you are a parent or guardian and believe information relating to a child under 14 is displayed or processed by this Website, contact [email protected]. We will review the request and, where appropriate, remove or restrict the information.

Service providers and international processing

The Website uses third-party infrastructure, including Railway for application hosting and Cloudflare for domain/network services. These providers may process limited technical information necessary to deliver and protect the service. Infrastructure may operate outside the European Economic Area, including Singapore, subject to the safeguards and terms applicable to the relevant provider.

Bilibili content

Bilibili video players are not loaded automatically on our video pages. They are loaded only after you choose to press the play button. At that point your browser may communicate directly with Bilibili, which may process technical information according to its own policies.

Retention

Authentication sessions expire automatically. Application-level failed-login security records are automatically cleaned after no more than seven days when they are no longer required for an active lockout. Anonymous community votes may be retained while the corresponding video or idea remains part of the Website; an administrator can reset them. Public recommendation records are retained while they remain part of the community archive or until they are removed or restricted following a valid request. Infrastructure providers may maintain their own technical logs under their respective policies.

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection regarding personal data concerning you. If a public Bilibili comment or account reference displayed here concerns you and you would like it reviewed or removed, contact [email protected].

Where the GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
